Sae Eun Park studied dance at the National Ballet Academy in Korea:
2007: Participated in the Prix de Lausanne.
She then joined the American Ballet (New York) and danced soloist roles in ballets such as Allegro Brillante (George Balanchine) and Interplay (Jerome Roobbins).
2009: She joined the Korean National Ballet and danced numerous roles such as Odile-Odette/ Swan Lake or Marie/ The Nutcracker (choreographies by Iouri Grigorovitch).
2010 : Promotion to soloist of the Korean National Ballet Company. Expands her repertoire with Kitri/ Don Quixote (after Marius Petipa) at the Korean Ballet Association Festival in Seoul or Nikiya/ La Bayadère and Clara/ The Nutcracker with the Universal Ballet Company.
2010: Gold medal at the International Ballet Competition in Varna.
2010: Gold medal at the Premio Roma.
2011 : Member of the corps de ballet of the Paris Opera.
2013 : Promotion to Coryphée. Receives the Prix du Cercle Carpeaux.
2014 : Promotion to ‘Sujet’.
2017 : Promotion to ‘Première danseuse’.
2018 : Awarded the Prix Benois de la Danse.
2021 : France-Korea cultural prize.
After the performance of Romeo and Juliet (Noureyev) on 10 June 2021, Sae Eun Park was named ‘Danseuse Étoile’.
