Valentine Colasante spent her childhood between Italy and France and grew up in an artistic environment. At a very young age, she joined the Paris Opera ballet school where she trained for eight years. At the age of seventeen, she was hired by the Paris Opera Ballet and quickly climbed the ranks.

On January 5, 2018, Valentine Colasante was named Danseuse Étoile after a performance of Don Quixote where she played the role of Kitri. Her repertoire includes Romeo and Juliet, La Bayadère, Cinderella, Swan Lake, Raymonda (Nurejew), Grand Pas Classique (Gsovsky), Themes and Variations, Symphony in C (Balanchine), Dances at a Gathering (Robbins), Kaguyahime, Bella Figura (Kylian), The Rite of Spring (Pina Bausch), Rain (Keersmaeker), Pas Part (William Forsythe), Tree of Codes (McGregor), Daphnis and Chloe (Millepied), Speak for Yourself (Leon, Lightfoot), Mayerling (Kenneth MacMillan).

She regularly performs in international galas and also

participates in numerous creative projects as part of artistic collaborations with theaters, museums and associations.
